Karl R. Rohrer Associates, Inc., a full-service architectural and engineering firm with an excellent history and reputation for quality, well known throughout Northeast Ohio since 1957. The strength of Karl R. Rohrer Associates, Inc. lies in our ability to provide a full spectrum of services under one roof. Our staff members are trained and experienced in the many disciplines of Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural Engineering with broad-based experience in organizing large, multi disciplinary projects.

Combined with our knowledgeable staff is the latest in office equipment, CADD stations and computer design software to insure for our clients the most cost effective and efficient design possible.

Following the death in 1987 of the firm's founder, Karl R. Rohrer, Sr., a mechanical engineer, the family trust sold the business to the three present owners.

The president of the company is Edward M. Monaco, AIA, an architect with a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in architecture and urban planning, both from Kent State University. Monaco heads the environmental division and is in charge of major architectural projects and other special projects. John M. Sweany, AIA, earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Kent State University and is corporate secretary and director of architectural services. Chairman and head of the firm's marketing and engineering divisions is Clifford H. Greive, P.E., who holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron.

Under the current leadership, Karl R. Rohrer Associates, Inc. continues to provide a full range of architectural services, energy utilization, planning, surveying, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and environmental engineering.
